Graphite Pencil Drawing Online Enrollment
The graphite pencil may be one of the most important and versatile tools in the artist's tool kit because it's vital for understanding sketching, value, and spatial understanding. This class introduces pencil drawing for young artists and provides them with important skills and exercises to promote and expand their skills. Students will learn about the material and its uses for art making. Students will create at least three projects within this course along with several technical activities. These courses are designed for students self motivated and excited about visual art.
This course is geared toward students from 10 to 16 years old, but older students and adults can enroll if desired. This course is Four Weeks long and can be started and finished at any point in July or August. Each week is comprised of three components: An introduction video and assignment (20 minutes), a weekly video call check-in (30 minutes), and a final review video call at the end of the week (30 minutes). This set up means that each course has four assignments and eight video calls. Supplies are not included in the price but a recommended list is available to order through Amazon or Micheal's, the supplies will last longer than four weeks. This format is awesome for families that go away for the summer since it can be done anywhere and I offer discounts for students who enroll in multiple courses or families that have multiple students enrolled. When you enroll in a course you also get access to a once a week “Draw with Mr. G” live drawing session!
