Iphone Photography Online Enrollment
*any smartphone or tablet with a camera will work but most videos are designed for Apple*
Smartphone cameras have nearly eliminated the need for point-and-shoot digital cameras but they also offer an easy and available way to teach digital photography. Every generation of smartphone has improved it's camera and settings making them perfect tools for introducing young artists to photography. In this course we explore the camera app, learn about composition, practice editing, and as a final project students will be creating their own photography series using their new skills.
This course is geared toward students from 10 to 16 years old, but older students and adults can enroll if desired. This course is Four Weeks long and can be started and finished at any point in July or August. Each week is comprised of three components: An introduction video and assignment (20 minutes), a weekly video call check-in (30 minutes), and a final review video call at the end of the week (30 minutes). This set up means that each course has four assignments and eight video calls. Supplies are not included in the price but a recommended list is available to order through Amazon or Micheal's, the supplies will last longer than four weeks. This format is awesome for families that go away for the summer since it can be done anywhere and I offer discounts for students who enroll in multiple courses or families that have multiple students enrolled. When you enroll in a course you also get access to a once a week “Draw with Mr. G” live drawing session!
